Canada & U.S. Nightwear Recall A product recall notice for customers residing in Canada.
Ensuring the quality and safety of our products is of utmost importance to us. Despite our best efforts and meticulous care, we have discovered that our product, the boy's short sleeve 2 Piece Pirate pyjamas, sold to customers in Canada and the USA pose a flammability risk. It is imperative to note that this issue does not affect customers outside these regions.
Our attention has been drawn to the fact that the short sleeve top accompanying the pyjama bottoms does not meet Canadian federal flammability regulations. This poses a significant risk of burn injuries to children. We are working in collaboration with the CPSC to resolve this issue and follow their guidance in recalling the affected items from our Canadian and US customers.
This recall affects the Theo & Me Boys 2 Piece Short Sleeve Pyjamas in the Night Pirates, Mushroom Friends, and Monster Trucks styles. These items feature a brown Theo & Me tag at the back of the neck, are made of milk silk fabric, and have solid cuffs in coordinating colors. They are available in sizes ranging from 2T to Boys Size 7 years.
We have communicated with all the affected customers via email, requesting that they stop using the pyjamas immediately. We have also advised them to carefully cut up the items so that they cannot be used further. Upon receipt of an image of the cut-up pyjamas, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method used during the time of ordering. In case of any processing challenges, we will contact the affected customers to process the refunds using an alternative method.
As a small business committed to minimizing waste, it is disheartening to request our customers to dispose of the affected items. However, given the gravity of the situation, we have no alternative. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and express our gratitude to our esteemed customers for their continued support.
